MINUSES SUMMARY
Quadropolis has the look and feel of a first time map by an author, it's rough, contains errors, doesn't look very professional, and needs work. The opening sequence shows some promise though, as you begin in a nice little courtyard area under immediate attack by Enforcers and Guards. It's a hectic and fun beginning. The map does offer up a bit of a challenge, and the action is even fun. Most notable is a highly amusing battle with a Gladiator that takes place on an enormous staircase. I really had fun with that. Unfortunately, there are plenty of problems. No triggers are labled, and each time you press a button, you have no idea what it did. Most triggers are in loops, so if the trigger produces a Strogg, you can manufacture infinite numbers of them. One such Strogg (a parasite) appears some inches into the floor. The final trigger is the most difficult to locate, and I played the map many times before I ever found it. Bottom Line: The map shows signs of creativity and imagination by the author - but it is very amatuerish and not a high quality product. Decent for a quick action fix, but not fulfilling.
