MINUSES SUMMARY
As the author notes in his read-me file, this map was originally designed to be deathmatch, with single player elements added later, and it shows. Even before I read that note in the text file, I felt I was playing a DM map, with some Strogg thrown in. The map in itself isn't bad. It's layout is simple, yet creative. The architecture is decent, except for the design of the face of the building, which can be seen from outdoors (see pic.), which was really great looking, and very original. The general look of the map is kind of cool, with some good use of colored lighting and a bit of style and flair. It did get to be a bit much at times, getting dangerously close to gaudy, but managed to pull off the wild color scheme reasonably well. Probably works better in DM. The challenge is virtually non-existent. Strogg have been placed with little thought to gameplay, and with the massive firepower given the player, they are easily dispatched with. Tigger does have some talent, but I'd much rather see what he does with a true Spq2 project, and not this effort.
