This map starts off showing much promise with a cool looking fuel truck that explodes, a fairly high challenge, and some cool looking rooms with furniture and other 'accessories'. The architecture is a bit blocky, and Strogg placements seem somewhat arbitrary, but the weapons/ammo and health distributions were fairly well implemented. The layout of the map was well done, with a wide variety of locales and plenty room for movement. There is a definite sense of place. Unfortunately the problems overtake the potential of this map before long. I encoutered an instance of severe HOM, a Guard who was inside a pillar (and could fire on me), a 'see-through' doorway, and worst of all an error message that dumped me out of the game 2 tries in a row. I was unable to finish the map due to this error (I think it was a Floorspace_r reflooded or something similar), which is too bad since despite it's flaws the map showed some of potential. I'd like to see the author get some beta testers and do some more research into level editing, and give it another try.
