MINUSES SUMMARY
This map is just riddled with so many errors that I had trouble finding any good in it. There is HOM so bad it can trap the player and force a noclip, illogical traps that dump you into lava for no reason, extremely serious texture misalignments (see flags), unmarked triggers (press button, but what happened??), brushes that block progress for no reason - such as stairs that you need to jump onto, doorways that you need to duck under, and barriers in odd places that need to be shot away. Add that to the fact that the main goal of the map is to find the blue keycard - yet when I found it I got a very odd event which flashed both "you need the blue keycard" and then "you got the blue keycard" on the screen when I tried to grab it - then I suddenly died for no reason. I had to try and gran the card at least 5 times before I got it without dying. Then there is the fact that you can exit the map without having to face the final boss. Alex has got the basic idea of what it takes to make a Quake2 map, and he does keep the player moving from goal to goal - but he needs to learn a lot more about map design, and iron out a slew of techincal bugs before this map would be of good quality.
